EASTBOURNE FERRY AND BUS SERVICE.
The management of the Eastbourne Ferry and Bus Service draws attention to special attractions for to-morrow. A brass band will play on board the Muritai across the harbour, and will give an open-air concert at Day's .Bay Pavilion at 3.15 p.m. The bush at the Bay is delightful for picnic parties and safe sandy beach unequalled anywhere. There are plenty of grass and asphalt tennis courts, and these are becoming more popular tick week. Visitors are reminded to take the round trip, bus out and boat home. Arrangements have been made for the Muritai to run a special trip from Petoue to Day's Bay, leaving Petone at 11.55 a.m. Every consideration is being given to allow Petone residents the same opportunity of visiting the Eastern Bays, as residents in Wellington. All return bus tickets are available for return on the boats to either Wellington or Petone.
In to-day's advertising columns will be found particulars of the issue of holiday excursion tickets between Palmerston North and Wellington to the Hovowheuua A. and .P. Show at Levin on 20tli and 30th January.
