Carewo purchased the story from Bercovici and commissioned Finis Fox to write a scenario around the Idea so aa to take full advantage of Miss Del Uio's versatility. Fox. who had written two former stories for the Mexican star knew her needs and immediately set himself upon the task of writing a colourful story of gipsy lure. The result 03 ' Uovence," produced and directed by Carewe tor United Artists with Miss Del Ulo In the fiery role of Bascha, the gipsy queen of bear tamers.
