A schedule of freight alterations has been issued confidentially to ship loading brokers, with, the result that shippers can ascertain the rates on their particular goods, consequently business is working more smoothly.

Among the increases in freights are the following: Earthenware and glassware, 60s to 05s; Chinaware, 00s to 70s; aeroplanes, 55s to 60s; fireclay, lumps, 50s to 555; holloware, 60s to 70s; wheels and axles, 100s to 110s; three-ply boards and many kinds of woodware, GOs to 655.
