SHANGHAI, 14th January

China was linked up with the Western world by radio to-day with the inauguration by the Chinese Government of radio for world-wide communication service. Twenty-two important cities throughout the country are linked up, the central station • being at Shanghai. Inauguration messages were exchanged between Shanghai and New York successfully.
