King Amauullah' flight to Kandahar renders it easier for him to quit Afghanistan, but his position is still perilous, as many of his recent adherents are anxious to side with the rebels. His objective after leaving Kandahar would be Qnetta, but ho may select some other destination in order to be more certain of escaping tho vengeance' of his enemies, 'who will undoubtedly pursue him even to India. It is certain that he will never remain in safety any■where in the East. Probably, therefore, should ho effect his escape ho will eventually go into retirement in Paris.
No Moslem warrior can understand the psychology of man who seeks'safety rather than die fighting. Flight would forever end hope of regaining his lost position.
