ST. ANNE'S SPRING CARNIVAL.
Inn- some time a committee has been organising iunctions to raise funds for the rebuilding of. St: Anne's Church, Wellington bouth, and to conclude the campaign for the. year a. spring carnival will be opened m St. Anne's, Hal!; Green street, next baturday evening at 7.45 p.m. by Mr. R. M'Keen, MJ., apd will b™ cZ tmued each evening until the 10th November, The stalls, which include fancy, sweet, toy, produce, and refreshment, will be well stocked, and patrons are assured of a wide variety. : Each evening there will bo dancing displays by the pupils of well-known schools of dancing, -sin'- orchestra to enliven the proceedings, and games and side-shows for old and young, Admission to the carnival is free, and it is confidently anticipated that the efforts of the stall-holders will meet with a hearty response. . .
