The suggestion that a large voto should lie placed on the Estimates for tlio supply of more reading matter to lighthouse-keepers was made by Mr. T. lit. Wilford (Ilutt) when speaking in' the House of Representatives yesterday. Mr. Wilforcl said that everything* possible should bo done to make conditions in the lighthouses inoro agreeable.
