ACCIDENTS

♦ Shortly after 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon a motor-lorry, the property of Messrs. Coutts Bros., anil driven by James Moore, was talcing in a supply of petrol from a pump in Aro street when it burst iuto flames. The Fire Brigade was called, and the outbreak was quickly suppressed, little damago being done to the lorry. Severe burns to his left hand and slight burns to his forehead and light hand were received by Moore, who is a single man, 24 years of age, residing at No. 47, Epuni street, and ho was taken to the Hospital by the City Ambulance. As the result of a fall from the roof on ■which ho was working yestorday afternoon at his homo at No. 19, Norm'anby street, Nowtown, \V. Robinson • fractured his right foot. Ho was taken kjjig (f» Hospital by the City Ambulance.
