FROZEN. MEAT MARKET.
Messrs. Levin and .Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their. London agents, ' dated 13th July:—"Frozen meat quotations prices on a 'delivered' basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.):—Down lambs, 28 to 42's,' lOd per lb; best North Island, 28 to 42's, 9 7-8 d; ordinary'-Nbrth^lsland,'2B -td: 42's;'----9 5-8 d; second quality lambs, 28 to 42's, 9 7-8 d; best North/Island •wether; sheep, 48 to 64's 7 1-Sd, 64 to 72's 6%d; ordinary North Island wether sheep, 48 to , 64's, 7d; North . Island ewes, 46 to 64's 5%d, 64 to 72's 5%d; New, Zealand prime ox beef, 160; to 220's, 5d per lb. As compared with last week's quotations lamb unchanged except down lamb, which is l-8d per lb lower. Mutton, l-8d per lb higher, and beef;3-16ths pence lower. The market is firm-but quiet, on account of the warm weather."
