ERECTION OF' NEW STAND Another determined.effort to have an up-to-date stand at Athletic Park: in place of the present old building is being made by the Wellington' Rugby Union, and it is hoped that this time it will be a case of ■on with the work. The plans were drawn up long ago and approved, and the proposals were carried even farther than that by a call for tenders for the construction of the new stand. Once: again tenders are being called,; and it is hoped that at the end of. the present season the new building will begin to. take shape: ;
