(Eeceived 14th July, 11 a.m.) • ' ■■•■•"•■ LONDON, 13th July. - The majority report of the Special Committee inquiring into the Savidge case, accepts the police version of the Scotland Yard interview, especially as to alleged improprieties, but \ recommends changes in the procedure. Professor Lees-Smith's minority report accepts Miss Savidge 's version, and considers that the episode discloses perils, to civil liberty. : The next stage is the Home Secretary's promised inquiry into police methods generally, It is gathered that it is most likely that a Eoyal Commission will be appointed, instead of a departmental committee.
