FURNITURE TRADERS' ANNUAL MEETING
The annual meeting of the Wellington Furniture Traders'. Association was c held ou Thursday eveuing, Mr. F. Campbell, president, presiding over a representative attendance. The chairman, in reviewing the activities, engaged in by the-association during the past year, referred to1 the subjects' of membership, finance, apprenticeship conditions, shop assistants' award; military training of apprentices, Customs tariff, Arbitration Court, etc. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, F. Campbell; vice-presidents, J". G. Marshall and B. Staff; executive, A. Martin, C. H. Parsonage, H. Beavis, L. Williams,'L. Jenkins, H. Smith, A. C. Jensen; hon. auditor, F. AY. Vosseler; secretary^ F. Ross. | Appreciation of the services rendered Iby Mr. F. W. Vosseler in the capacity of hon. auditor was placed on, record. It was decided to communicate with the New Zealand Furniture Traders' Federation, suggesting that a Dominion Trade Conference be held at AVellington during the period ot the 1928 AA 7elliugton • AA'intcr Shew ?!,d Industiial Exhibition.
