WEDDINGS

♦ A recent wedding was that of Ivy, youngest daughter of Mrs. A. J. March, of Mornington, to Hubert Hilton, only son of Mrs. M. Walker, of Auckland. The ceremony took place at the Presbyterian Church, Kont terrace, when the Rev. J. Baird officiated. The bride was in a charming gown of pale blue georgette and silver lace, weiring a veil and orange blossoms, her showor bouquet being of roses and heather. She carried a gold horseshoe also. Miss Ivy M'Kinstrey was chief bridesmaid, her frock being of powder georgette and silver lace, her becoming hat being to match, while her bouquet was of pink chrysanthemums and roses. She wore a string of pearls, the gift of the bridegroom. Little Dallas Meech, who also attended, was in pale blue taffetas, trimmed with silver lace and pink roses, her cap being to match. Her posy was of pink.flowers, and she wore a gold armlet, the gift of the bridegroom. Little Boy March, who was in a blue satin suit, carried a black cat, which had been given to the bride for luck, his present from the bridegroom being a silver serviette ring. Mr. B. Henderson was best man. The bridegroom presented the bride with a gold signet ring. A very pleasant reception, followed by a dance, was held.in the Mokoia Hall after the ceremony, 130 guests being present. The blue tone of tho wedding, was carried out in the artistically arranged tables. . The bride's mother wore silver grey marocain and black hat and coat to match, and carried a bouquet of red roses. The bride travelled in a powder blue charrhaline frock with hat and coat to match. Later Mr. and Mrs. Walker left for a tour of the Sounds.
