TARARUA TRAMPING CLUB.

A public lecture, illustrated by lantern slides, will be, delivered by Mi*. 11. E. Anderson at the Masonic Hall this evening, at S o'clock. The lecture will describe travel through South Africa, Rhodesia, Kenya, and Uganda, and will give a description of some of the tombs of the East. The pictures, include wondorl'nl scenery of the Ruwenzori Mountains and great glaciers and ice formations 10,000 feet up and only ten miles from the equator. The Tarania Tramping Club has arranged the lecture with the object of obtaining funds to improve the mountain huts and tracks in the Tafarua Ranges.
