MINER KILLED

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 23rd May.. While working in Shag Point coal min.e this morning, William James Robinson was buried under a fall. Of earth and killed. Robinson, who is a single man, 36 years of age, was erecting somo staging in company with a workmate, when six tons of earth fell from above. His workmate jumped clear, receiving only a cut on the head, but Robinson was completely buried. His body was recovered after three hours.
