"Flappers" in England celebrated their franchise victory at the Queen's Hall with a monster meeting .of delegates from 147 of the principal women's societies. Mr. Baldwin, was the chief speaker and called on all woman to realise that their new freedom; only meant a new duty, for' freedom without obligation was merely license and anarchy.
