BRITAIN PREPARING
DEFENCE OF PALESTINE FORCES FOR FRONTIER (United Press Association.—Copyright.) (Sydney Sun Cable.) LONDON, 7th March. The Jaffa correspondent of the "Daily Mail" says that the Government is taking im mediate steps to deal with any hostile movement of Ibn Saud towards the Trans-Jordania frontier. A force is being mobilised and men have been recalled from leave. A see- [ ond armoured car company has left j Eamleh for Amman. A number of troop-carrying airplanes, said to contain . twenty ■ men apiece—-reinforce-ments from Egypt—passed, over for Amman. Airplane patrols are keeping a close observation of the territory south and south-east of Amman, but no .concentration..of tribes is noticed.
