LONDON, 15th Dec. Replying to questions about the case of John Harvey, a native of Cardiff, who was serving a sentence of eight years' penal servitude in France -ior deserting from the Foreign Legion, Commander Locker-Lampson, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs, said: "I am happy to be able to say that the French Government, as soon as the matter was brought to their notice, have given orders for the immediate release of Harvey. I am sure that the House will much appreciate this grateful and generous act of tho French Government." '
