Pennies from children especially in Sunday schools, have done much to increase the fund which lias been launched for the proposed Scottish national memorial to David Livingstone, the missionary and traveller. The. amount aimed at is £12,000,'----of which £7000 has'been raised, subscriptions from children amounting to JCIGOO.
