SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY.

Despite the dull weather all was bright and cheery .at Mr. J. H. Dunn's concert for seafarers at the Sailors' Friend Society, and the evening passed all too quickly for the guests, who demanded many encores. The performers were Mrs. H. G. Good, Miss Owen, and Messrs. T. Jenkins, A. Edmunds, Lindolph, Kennedy" Livingstoue. Mrs. Good was at the piano! Members of the congregation provided hospitality. The . competition prizes came from Mr*. 1). M'Lean and Kelburn, and went to the Turakina, Tongarfro, etc. The vote of thanks was responded to by the host.
