GETTING IN TOUCH

AUSTRALIAN COMMERCE

An invitation from the Associated Chambers of Commerce of the Commonwealth of Australia for New Zealand representation was received by t"he Dominion Associated Chambers. The conference is to be held at Hobavt on 27th and 29th February, 1928. Mr. C. M. Bowden, ■secretary, New Zealand Associated Chambers of Commerce, having intimated that he proposed to visit Australia, and could make it convenient to attend the conference, the association resolved that Mr. Bowden, secretary of the association, and president of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce, be appointed to attend as a representative of New Zealand. Mr. Bowden was authorised to convey the greetings of the association, and the hope that trade matters between the two countries would bp looked upon from the broad, Imperial standpoint, with a view to further cementing the goodwill existing. It was suggested that a conference should be held triennially between the Associated Chambers of Commerce of Australia and of New Zealand.
