GREYMOUTH, 20th Sept. A crossing collision occurred this afternoon at th,o town end of tho railway bridge, whoro a bus with four passongcrs, owned and driven by 11. M'Glashan, was taken unawares by a coal train from Rcwanui... and struck on tho side and carried fifteen yards. Dospito two wheels on that sido coming off, the'bus remained upright, and npbody was hurt, tho oseapo being a remarkable ono. The crossing is a dangerous one, there being- a traffic bridge alongside tho railway bridge, and tho driver of the bus was crooping over tho line behind, a shunting'l.rain when tha accident bapptfciod. The driver of the train had only a short range of vision on tho railway bridge.
