SIR JOHN M'WHAE

(Received 20th September, 11 a.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. The death is announced of Sir John M'Whae, formerly Agent-General for Victoria in London, 1922-24, at the age of 69. He was born at Ballarat ana started life in the Union Bank of Australia, and was for 30 years a meir/jr of the Melbourne Stock Exchange. He was connected with pastoral properties in Victoria and New South Wales. He was long in the Victorian Legislature and for some years a Minister. Ho leaves three sons and two daughters.
