QUADRANGULAR MATCH.

The annual quadrangular match and smoke concert of the Railway-Harbour Board-Petone W.M.C., and Wellington W.M.C. took place last Friday evening. The match was fired on the Harbour Board range, and the smoke concert was held afterwards In the Railway Social Hall. An interesting shoot took place. Each team comprised seven men, and they fired five shots each. The result put Harbour Board and Railway equal with tho score of 324 P.W.M.C. 317, W.W.M.C. 302. The chair was taken at the smoke concert by Mr. Ballard, of the W.W.M.C., and a lengthy toast list was gone through. Several musical Items were rendered, each ably supported by the accompanist, Mr. Dean. The following contributed: Messrs. Edwards, Barcham, Bryant,. Evison, Childs, Cook, Wrigley, Dempsey, and Sharkey. There were about 70 members present, and the evening came to a close Just before midnight after singing "Auld Lang Syne."
