FATAL SKID

CARTERTON, This Day. The inquest on Reginald Hayloek, a single man, aged 26, ivas held at Greytown yesterday. The deceased, in company with M. . >oohan and W. Monteith, was riding a motor-cycle and sidecar on Saturday evening when the cycle skidded on some loose metal and collided with a motor-lorry. The deceased was pinned between the cycle and the sidecar. His head was seriously injured, and his left elbow was broken. He also suffered severe internal injuries. He "was admitted, to th« Greytown Hospital in a serious condition, and died at 3.10 on Sunday. \ "It is a most unfortunate affair," said the Coroner (Mr. E. G. Eton), in giving his finding that death' had been purely accidental, and that no blame was attachable to anybody.
