LYALL BAY CARNIVAL.
lhe Lyall Bay Progressive Association, together with the Lyall Bay and Maranui Surf and Life-saving Clubs, is promoting a monster carnival to be held at Lyall Bay during the Christmas holidays. The services of a competent organiser have been secured. Residents, particularly ladies, are invited to attend the meeting in _the Lyall Bay School on Thursday, at 7.45 p.m., when committees will be elected. The proceeds of the carnival will be devoted to equipping the children's play area.
