The New Zealand Meat Producers Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated 16th September, advising Smithfield delivered prices at that date, with movements on the week shown m parentheses:—

The Bank of New Zealand, Produce Department, has to-day received the following advice from its London office, under date 16th September:—"Frozen meat: The market for wether mutton is firm, with au upward tendency. The market advance in ewes and lambs is due to forward speculation. Wethers, light 5%d to 6%d per lb, heavy SYti to 5%d; ewes, 4% to 3d; lambs twos 9d to 9%d, eights B%d to B%d, fours B^d to &&&, seconds B%d to 9d."
