J. CARSWELL RIDES WELL
The Port Nicholson Boad Cycling Chilj held a 26%-miles race on Saturday after* nopn from the Petone Rowing_Club sheet to Quin's Post and back. There were thirty-eight starters, and the placed mea came from, the? 6min mark. J.- Carswell, who was on the scratch mark;-'rode anexceptionally fine race. He was unfortunate enough to meet with an accident oni the way out and lost about 4min. Never* theless he managed to secure fastest time! beating the other scratch men by a minute. Results are as follow:—
