STATEMENT FOR AUGUST 1927
Tho amount paid out in settlement of now loans was £312,079, making a total of £-1,193,644 since the beginning of the present financial year on Ist April last.
Additional new loans were granted to the amount of £140,850, making the total new loans on hand awaiting completion £667,988, while loans offered being less than the full advances applied for amount to .£241,815 —a grand total of £909,803. Applications for. further loans amounting to £279,888 are receiving consideration.
Now business continues to be very satisfactory,.and the value of tho estates accepted for administration during the month was ,£.531,554, making a total of new business since Ist April last of £2,603,015. This represents a very substantial increase on the figures for tho same period of the previous year.. ■' - - Additional new wills deposited for safe custody numbered 530, and the total now held is 55,420.
