WAR DEBTS TO BRITAIN
ITALY AND PRANCE PAYING

RUGBY, l&th September. The Italian Government has duly paid to the British Government to-day the sum of £2,000,000, being the fourth instalment payable under the Italian war debt funding agreemont of 27th January, 1926.
The French Government j-.lao paid to-day tho sum of £3,000,000 to the British Government as the third payment on account of the French war debt.
