AUSTRALIA'S EXAMPLE
(Eeceivcd 17th September^ noon.)
GENEVA, Hitih Sept. Sir Granville Eyrie (Australia), participating in the Sixth Commftttee 's discussion on the resolutions of tthe International Press Conference, said tiiat, judging from Australia's experience, there was no serious ground i'or complaint against the loading agencies, which always worked in co-operation with Australia's own agencios. Australian newspapers for half ft; century had their own cabling agenci(fs) in London. They perceived, with Bjerr Hanibro, the advantage of having news presented by their own nationals, and were continuing this policy. and, through it, New Zealand 'jwere the only Dominions which were separately represented at Versailles and .■all subsequent international conferences^ as well as every Assembly of the Leajpse. The newspapers in the small countipes could organise their own services as the Australian newspapers had done.
