In "Tho Better '01c." which is being shown at Shortt's Tliuatre, Syd. Chaplin rises to great heights. Bruce Balrnsfathcr's famous caricatures offer him the widest scopo for his unnanny ability to provoko laughter. His characterisation of "Old Bill" Is his masterpiece, and it is the opinion of Balrusfather himself that Syd. Chaplin Is perhaps the only man in pictures who could make "Old Bill" live on the screen. The asfond picture Is "Girls Men Forget," featuring Johnny Wnlker and Patsy Ruth Miller.
