LONDON WOOL SALES.
LONDON, loth September:
At the -wool sales- there was a good selection of spinners' merinos, principally speculators' lots; a large offering of slipes, but few greasy crossbreds. The market was firm, with good competition. New Zealand lots sold: JDB/G, top price 18d per lb, average 14d. Messrs.,Murray,;Roberts,.and Co., Ltd., are in receipt of the following wool market cablegram from their London agents, dated 16th September:—"Market firm, with upward tendency all grades."
