MANY PROBLEMS
EMPIRE TRADE CONGRESS

LONDON, 14th Sept. A hundred Britsh delegates will proceed to South Africa on Saturday to attend the Federation of Empire's Chamber bf Commerce opening at Capo town on 4th October. The congress will specially consider the development of Imperial preference' and the removal of inter-Imperial trade barriers. The Dudley Chamber is protesting against the protection of uneconomic industries. The Belleville Chamber is 'urging free trade within the Empire. The London Chamber advocates Imperial penny post, non-taxation of nonresident principals throughout tho Empire, and is suggesting devices to overcome pilferage.
