ALLEGATIONS OF GAMING

HAMILTON, 11th August. Harry Abraham Samuels, a tailor, appeared before Justices of the Peace charged that on or about 11th August, being the occupier of premises in Victoria street, Hamilton, he used the same as a common gaming-house, and William Anderson Eolston ' Wyllie was charged with being found on the same premises. Both men were remanded till 24th August, bail being allowed. James Henry Doleman, a tobacconist, of Frankton, and Thomas Joseph Carter, also a hairdresser employed by him, were also arrested—Doleman for allegedly conducting a common gaminghouse, and Carter for assisting him. They also vreto remanded till 24tli August on bail,
