i MASTERTON, 3rd June. The Wairarapa golf tourney wub continued to-day in ideal weather. J. L. Black defeated J. C. Bidwill on the thirteenth green, and now meets his brother in the semi-final. The "other semi-finalists are D. C. Collins and E) W. Perry, who defeated A. E. Eksted, the Manawatu champion. Details:—

First Round. J. L. Black (Hutt) beat Lauranee, 3 and 2.

J. C. Bidwill (Wairarapa) beat W. H. Percy (Maßterton), 6 and 4. .H. R. Black (Hutt) tieat Dr. H. G. Moser (Masterton), 3 and 2. E. D. Hurst (Miramar) beat B. Booth (Carterton), 3 and 2. A. E. Eflstedt (Manawatu) beat W. Booth (Carterton), 2 up. E. W.\ Perry beat R. W. Kebbell (Masterton), 1 up. • D. C. Collins (Wairarapa) beat R. M'Kenzie (Maßterton), 5 and 4. H.
