The Bishop of London, but recently in our midst, once scored nicely off a surly London taxi-driver. The man had driven the Bishop from St. Paul's, to his house, Fulham Palace, and was grumbling at his tip. ''Do you think if St. Paul was alive he'd .live in a palace like yours?" he sneered. " "No," replied the Bishop, "he'd be living at Lambeth Palace, and your fare would have been only a shilling."
