BROKEN BYLAWS
Offenders against the bylaws wore dealt with, in the Magistrate's Court yesterday afternoon by Mr.. J. H. Salmon, S.M. .-.-•..•■.■ .■ - John W. Connor, for dangerous driving, was fined £4. For speeding, Harold Coster was fined £3. Arthur Barnes, Wesley Birch, Victor F. Connelly, Charles William Harris, Eric W. Hutching, Wallace Kilrainster, James Lawton, Joseph Christie I M'Mahori, Baiph Owens, and "Victor Watson,were each fined £1. . " For speeding across intersections, Bernard Frederick Appleyard, John, B. Daniel, Harold :E. Foothead,' and Hugo :Lupi were, each fined £2. Ernest M'Quade, for a similar offence, was fined £3.--. " ":' '•" . For having their cars parked more * than, a foot from the kerb/ William A. A. Gordon".and Bernard G. Griffiths were each fined £1. Charles F. Cook was ordered'to'pay the costs. Having no motor-driver's licenses cost Anthony T. Cooper arid Sydney J. Sullivan £2 each.- Francis Edward Stafford was fined 10s. •) Daniel G. Burke, Eric C'ollinsori, and Ernest Tong were each fined 10s for leaving their cars unattended. Having: no lights cost Aloxander William Campbell and Raymond C; Smith £1 each. A penalty of 10s was imr posed ou John Gage, Alexander Gage, Joseph Davis Gage, Charles O'Leary, and William tTru,...".. The following were fined 10s each:— Oscar Lamberg, for having his lorry parked on tho wrong, side of the street; Arthur Douglas Wylie, for faiiing topay"the' Hutt road license fee; Stephen Baker, for obstructing a footpath with .his motor-car; Albert E. V. Boytt, for failing to take proper precautions against his motor-cycle Wing, started in his absence; Edward G. Eastern, for having no roar number-plate; Frank W. D. Lloyd, foi\turning in Manners street;, and Charles. E. Miller, fori , not having proper brakes. ' ;
