A DRY MONTH

(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. The month of May just passed has been the driest ever recorded since Christchurch Observatory came into existence in 1902. Tho rainfall wag 80 per cent..below the average for May. The minimum temperature was also slightly below normal. The most severe frost experienced in May was 16.1deg, recorded on 31st May, 1913. On Bth May of this year 14deg were recorded. This is the second most severe frost on record for .May.
