LONDON, 28th May. A great Empire flight, the biggest undertaken by the air service in any i country, will begin in October, when i sis supermarine Southampton flying boats will set out from England to Singapore, under command of WingCommaiider T. Y. Cave-Brown-Cave. The Southampton boats have metal hulls and are fitted with two Napier engines. They, have a crew of five ot : six men each. , ; The Southampton flying-boats will make a circuit of India and Australia, and will finally be stationed at Singa- | pore permanent.*-.
