Ge£!: ral ate for the Beneral purposes of the City, under Section 77 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, of twopence and seven-tenths of a penny (2 7-10 d) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property within the city. LIBRARY RATE. .A Library Rate under the provisions of Section 91 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, of sixteen two huiidredths of a penny (16-200 d) in. the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property within the city. HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID RATE. A rate under.the provisions of Section 52 of "The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1926," of sixpence (6d) in the pound on the rateable value on the basis of the annual value of all rateable property within "the city, such rate being required to meet the contribution payable by the Council to the Wellington Hospital and Charitable Aid Board. WATER RATE. A Water Rate (ordinary supply) under the provisions of Section 82 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," as undey:^On all land and buildings in the city used as dwelling-houses to which water is supplied: (a) Where the annual rateable value on the Valuation Roll doea not exceed £1210s a rate of ten shilliuKs (10s); (b) where such annual rateable value exceeds £12 10s, a rate of 5% peu cenk on such value. One-half of the respective water rates mentioned above on all land and building* to which water can he supplied, but is not supplied, if situate within one hundred yards of any pays of the waterworks, and on all buildings other than dwelling-houses. LIGHTING RATE. „ •A rate under the provisions of Section 88 of the Municipal Corporations A«t, 1920, of One 1 Penny and one-sixth of a 1 penny (11-6 d) in the pound on the. rate* able value on the basis of the annual value of all property within the city, for thS,- pi?pS? rf lighting the streets and public buildings in the city. Abo, that all the above rates will bo payable in one instalment on the Ist day of August, 1927. CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL RATE. Notice is also hereby given that the Wellington City Council intenda to make and Jevy under the provisions of the Wellington City Empowering and Special Hates Consolidation Act, 1923, a Consolidated Special Rate of One Penny and one-half-penny (l%d) in the pound on the rateable- value on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Wellington, for the purpose of providing the moneys necessary to meet the charges mentioned in Sub-section 2 of Section 3, of the last-mentioned Act, payable in one instalment on the Ist day of August, 1927. NGAIO PUBLIC~HALL SPECIAL RATE. __Notice "also hereby given that the Wellington City Council intends to levy the Special Rate of One Hundred and Ninety-two hundredths of a penny (190-2OOd) in the pound, payable in one instalment, on the Ist day of August, 1»27. on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable, property in the special rating area^of the Ngaio District of the City of Wellington, as described in the Schedule,to the Resolution, of the 28th day of February, 1924, made and levied tjtiaer%e!
