The.fonert.lof the late Henry Bryan Kenny, of Johnsonville, tho driver of the service, ear, who was killed; as the result of the eollison on the Hutt road last Tuesday, took -place- on Saturday afternoon, and was largely attended. After'« service had been, held, at the Mortuary Chapel of Wilson and Sons, John street, by-the Bey.' Mr. .Walker, of Johnsonville, the cortege, of about 40 motor-cars, left for the Soldiers' Cemetery at Karon. , The route taken was through the city^ and thence via Molesworth street end Hill, street. Mr. Fordham Clark, of St. Peter's Mission, conducted an inipretsive seryica at the graveside. Many beautiful floral tributes were '_ received, and among those who attended the funeral were a number, of -residents of Johnsonville, who came into town by service cars. Major Watson- represented the Returned Soldiers' Association, and Mrs. A. E. Neilson the Women's National Reserve. Besides a number of returned soldiers there were also representatives present from the various.motor; firms .and ser- ' vice car „ „ , ...
