LONDON, 16th May. In the House of Commons, replying to a question, Mr. L. C. M. Amery, Dominions Secretary, said that official communications between South Africa and Britain would be made from Ist July through officials, instead of through the Governor-General. On- the same date also in Canada this change would be adopted. The Imperial Conference decisions had been operating, with the Tree State since Ist May.
