How, through an innocent error, she hnds herself mistaken for a famous countess, arid how, after a series of breathtaking episodes, she manages to return to the United States,. goes to make one of the breeziest comedies Paramount's star has ever appeared in. "Bertha, the Sewing Machine Girl," which comes to the Regent Theatre next Friday. Madge Bellamy, in the leading feminine role, is projected into a number of situations of< thrilling intensity. Opposite Miss Bellamy is Allan Simpson, popular New York actor, while the "menace" is supplied by Paul Nicholson. In the cast with Miss Bellamy and Mr. Simpson arc J. barrel Mac Donald, Arthur Housman, and a number of screen favourites.
