TO BE SPEEDED UP
PALMER STON DEVIATION

PALMERSTON N., This Day. Mr. J. A. Nash, M.P., intimated yesterday that he had received information to the affect that the Palmerston North railway deviation construction would be speeded up at a very early date. It is the intention of the Department to bring modern excavating machinery into operation, hut nevertheless many additional men will be required on t"he job. The decision of the Department will be welcomed by. the unemployed.
