Messrs. J. and N. Tait announce thedetails of the Wellington visit.of that re markable artist, Ignace Jan Pad.erewski perhaps the greatest personage in tin world of music at the present day. Th< season will open at the large Town Hal on Thursday, 9th June. The Wellington season will be limited to two recitals and the date of the second performance will be Saturday, 11th June. Mr. Paderewski achieved a memorable triumph-at his onenmg concert in Sydney. It will indeed be a rare privilege to hear such a supreme artist, and one of the most remarkable personalities of the present generation Endowed with exquisite taste, a refined intellect, and a truly romantic spirit, Paderewski breathes into all he plays a magcal touch of humanity, making an instani and irresistible appeal. His sincerity ant' nobility of _ purpose is at once apparen" in all his interpretations, and his command of rhythm and colour is extraordi nary. The prices of admission will be the same as those charged for Paderewski's recitals in Europe and America. Preliminary apphcations for centre seats in the dres circle and reserved stalls—price £1 Is plus tax, total £1 3s-will now be receive, by the box office manager.
