When a man in a checked suit pulls up in fronf of a hotel, steps, out of his car, and starts beatiug on hit windscreen with a hammer he is sure to draw a crowd. That is what happened in Brooklyn, New York. The glass did, not splinter. The hotel doorman, several taxi-drivers, and a number of pedestrians quickly gathered around. "Get out 0/ the picture," came shouts from across the street. "Get out of the picture." The car drew out and came up again,' the driver repeating his "stunt." "Hit it harder," came the voice of the picture director "Wonderful," commented a lady. "I must get some of that glass for jny ear." • But she did not know that the hamjner was made of rubber.
