"STRAIGHT SHOOTING"
SLOGAN FOR AUSTRALIAN
NAVY
(Received 15th March, 2 p.m.) LONDON, 14th March. Straight shooting" will be the slogan of the Australian Navy when Commander Eotherham, one of tho Navy's most successful gunnery leaders, takes up his duties at the Flinders Base. At present he is gunnery commander at Portsmouth. The authorities there are .preparing a special welcome for the Sydney in recognition of her war record. Arrangements are bein<* made to dispose of tho Sydney's and Melbourne's crews among British ships for instructional purposes till they reassemble to man the Australia and Canberra, which will have 98 per cent Australian crews.
