DULL MEAT MARKET.
Messrs. Levin and Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London agents, dated 11th March:—'"Frozen meat quotations (prices on a 'delivered' basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, tolls, etc.): Down lambs, 28/42's, 9%d per lb; best North Island, 28/42's, 9%d----ordinary North Island, 28/42's, 9&d; second quality lambs, 8 l-8d; best North Island wether sheep, 48/64's, 6M;d; 64/72's Slid; ordinary North Island wether sheep 4S/04's, CVid; North Island ewes, 48/64's 3 7-Sd; 64/72's, 3%A; New Zealand prime ox beef, 100/220's, 3%d. As compared with last week's quotations, second quality i',"? b IS, 3"Bd Per lb lower, and wethers 3/id per lb lower. Market dull, with downward tendency."
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 11th instant:— "New Zealand irozen meat: Lamb, 9M>d per 1b (average)mutton, wether and maiden ewe, light 6%d per lb, heavy s'^d per lb; ewe, light 4 1-Sd, heavy 3 7-8 d; market slow.'*
