SKIN AND HIDE SALES.
The usual fortnightly sale of sheepskins, hides, and tallow were held yesterday. Sheepskins were in keen demand for days, and prices generally %d to %d per 1b better than last sales. • Salteds sold at par. Good inquiry for all descriptions of hides; values for heavies, mediums, and lightweights were par to %d better than last sale; calf showed an advance of %d to %d per lb. Good shipping' patfcels of tallow were in request at a fall of Is per cwt. The following is the range of prices:— ;
